Driving directions from Jacksonville International Airport: Take I-95 south to Exit 95A. Head west on International Golf Pkwy. Take a right at the first stoplight, which is World Golf Village (WGV) Blvd and follow WGV Blvd for 1.75 miles; this leads directly to the resort.

The business center and the health club are both open 24 hours at the conference-friendly Renaissance Resort, and guests can enjoy the cigar club, the billiard room, and walking and jogging trails as well. Along with the two featured championship golf courses (King & Bear, the only course designed in partnership by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, and Slammer & Squire, a classic layout inspired by Slammin’ Sammy Snead and Gene “The Squire” Sarazen), there is an 18-hole putting green, pool, tennis courts, and an IMAX theater. The resort also offers transportation and access to the New Serenata Beach Club, a private club with several swimming pools and a kid’s pool that’s set directly on pristine Ponte Vedra Beach.

Golf is definitely the focus here (see Property Amenities for more information), but the Renaissance also has a pool and several tennis courts; or guests may choose to take a day or two to fly-fish, charter a boat and go deep-sea fishing, or give parasailing a try. The ocean is only 12 miles away and hotel guests get free admission to the New Serenata Beach Club, with its beach access, clubhouse, and multiple swimming pools.
